Richard Edmonds’ entire professional career has been dedicated to service and helping others. Richard began his career in the U.S. Marine Corps following graduation from college. After four years on active duty, Richard continued to serve for 20 more years in the Marine Corps Reserve, including one year back on active duty during Operation Desert Storm in 1990-1991.
Following his initial tour of active duty Richard accepted a position as a Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). It was while with NCIS that Richard’s interest in the law was developed and took its natural course. Richard left NCIS to attend law school and following graduation from Chicago Kent College of Law, Richard and his wife Robin and his two daughters returned to Michigan. There Richard began his legal career, which has now spanned more than 20 years of successful service to individuals, families and businesses in western, central and northern Michigan.
Richard is proud of his service to the community and is thankful every day for the list of people and families who have trusted him over the years to handle their business and family legal needs.
